What is an Estimated Cost of Attendance?

The Estimated Cost of Attendance (ECA) is NOT A BILL. It is only a figure used to determine financial need and/or eligibility for financial aid programs.  The ECA listed on your award letter is based on full-time enrollment for fall/spring and includes direct and indirect costs.  Direct costs are due at the beginning of enrollment and include Tuition & Fees, On-Campus Room & Board, and Books & Supplies. Indirect costs include Transportation, Off-Campus Room & Board, and Miscellaneous expenses (which include clothing, personal expenses, etc.).

The following chart shows samples of some estimated cost of attendance categories. Your ECA may be different.

Each student’s estimated cost of attendance will be listed on their Lobo Online account.
