The Texas State Teacher Association -Aspiring Educators (TSTA-AE) recently held their annual state conference via Zoom, March 28-30th. Sul Ross State University TSTA-AE received two state awards including first place in Largest Student Membership Increase and third place for Mid-Size Scrapbook.

In addition, two Sul Ross students were elected to serve in district office positions representing not only Sul Ross State University but also El Paso Community College and UT El Paso.  Angelique Gonzales was elected District 6 Vice President of TSTA-AE while Rebecca Ramos was elected District 6 Secretary.
